Shammi Kapoor detested his “Yahoo” persona in Bollywood, according to author and businesswoman Bina Ramani.

Regarding Shammi Kapoor’s public demeanor, Ramani said that the actor was very uneasy with his flashy on-screen presence.

Ramani, who detested his “Yahoo” persona, said in an interview with ANI that Kapoor was a guy who was totally different from his public persona.

When questioned about Shammi Kapoor’s “Yahoo” image, he said, “He detested it.” “I am doing this because I am getting paid by my producers,” he stated. They are profitable.

She said that the actor was well aware of the disconnect between his own self and what the business expected of him.
