India's domestic digital payments platform, BHIM app, launched a new campaign on Monday. The "Proudly Swadeshi" campaign offers a ₹20 cashback to new users who adopt digital payments.
BHIM will celebrate its 10th anniversary at the end of this month, and this special offer is being given to new users on this occasion. This offer is for users who make transactions of ₹20 or more. The aim of this campaign is to connect new users with digital payments and enhance their convenience.

How much cashback can be earned in a month?
BHIM aims to remove every obstacle for first-time digital payment users, so that the growing acceptance of digital payments can be further strengthened in every part of the country.

NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), which developed BHIM, said that new users who use the BHIM app for their daily purchases, such as groceries, bus or metro tickets, prepaid recharges, electricity and gas bill payments, and petrol expenses, can get up to ₹300 cashback per month on eligible transactions.

How many languages does BHIM support?
The new BHIM app, launched earlier this year, supports more than 15 Indian languages, provides an ad-free interface, and is suitable for areas with low connectivity. It also includes several new features, including Split Expenses, Family Mode, Spend Analytics, Action Needed, and UPI Circle.
In addition, the UPI Circle Full Delegation feature has been launched, allowing users to authorize their family members, children, employees, or dependents to make UPI payments within a set limit.

Which countries has it surpassed?
BHIM was designed keeping in mind the real needs of the country's citizens. According to a recent IMF report, UPI, with the BHIM app, is now the world's largest real-time digital payment system, accounting for 49 percent of digital payments. It has also surpassed the systems of countries like Brazil, Thailand, China, and South Korea.
