Whereas maize is considered more beneficial in some things like it is easy to digest and keeps the stomach full for a long time, hence both the grains should be eaten in moderate manner.
These things should be kept in mind
If you eat bread made from flour of maize or millet or any grain, you should definitely eat a little desi ghee with it. It does not cause heaviness in the stomach and is easily digested. These flour rotis should not be taken in too much quantity otherwise it may cause bloating in the stomach. Two to three rotis are enough for a day, but this also depends on your digestion. If you are eating maize or millet roti then it is better to have dinner at 7 to 8 in the evening and after that you should definitely take a walk for some time.
