Last year the 26-year-old went unsold as DC chose not to bid for the now Maharashtra cricketer. During his first stint with DC Shaw featured in 79 matches and scored 1892 runs at an average of 23.5 which included 14 half-centuries. He scored 183 runs in seven matches at an average of 26 and a strike rate of 160.52. Shaw ended up being the second-last signing for Delhi Capitals at the IPL 2026 auction.
