Will Kirk features on BBC One's The Repair Shop as an accomplished woodworker, having breathed new life into countless treasured possessions throughout his career.

The furniture specialist, 40, cultivated his love for period pieces by watching his grandfather craft items in his workshop.

Naturally, fans of the programme are curious about the star's life off screen, especially information regarding his relationship status.

Beyond the cameras, Will operates his own furniture restoration business in Wandsworth, sharing his home there with spouse Polly Snowdon.

The pair keep their relationship relatively private, so details about how long they've been together or how they met remain unclear, reports Gloucestershire Live.

Polly pursued psychology studies at the University of Exeter before obtaining her doctorate in Educational Psychology from Essex University.

The couple got engaged in 2020 and exchanged vows in August 2021 at a ceremony held at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester.

Those who keep up with Will on social media will be aware that at the time they were forced to push back their wedding plans after the coronavirus pandemic disrupted their arrangements.

Their nuptials faced delays when lockdown measures were implemented, though the pair ultimately celebrated their union, with Will describing it as the "best day of his life".

The Repair Shop crew even contributed to their ceremony, with the programme's goldsmith Richard Talman creating their bespoke wedding bands. The couple welcomed a new addition to their family in July 2022, a daughter whose name they have decided to keep under wraps for now.

Kirk was brimming with happiness when he spoke about becoming a father for the first time in an interview with Hello! Magazine.

He confessed: "I love her so much. It was quite tricky to leave home this morning to come down to The Repair Shop because she's so sweet in the mornings and she just looks up at you and she'd just woken up."

Professing his deep affection, he continued: "I'm absolutely in love. It's the best thing I've ever done I think, having a child." Since then, Will and his wife have become a delightful family of four, joyfully announcing the birth of their son last year.

The Repair Shop is broadcast on Wednesdays on BBC One.
