Vivo has launched a new smartphone series in China. This series has been launched as Vivo S50. The company has launched two smartphones under this series namely Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini. The company has launched both these smartphones in the premium segment. It has many special features and powerful battery to attract users. The smartphone launched by the company has special features like AMOLED display, latest Snapdragon processor, triple rear camera setup and a big battery. While the Vivo S50 smartphone has been launched with a standard size display, the Pro Mini variant has been launched in a more compact form factor. Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini Price

The Vivo S50 smartphone has been launched in 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 256GB variants. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,999 which is around Rs 39,000. While the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 3,299 i.e. around Rs 42,000 and the 16GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,399 i.e. around Rs 43,000. The 12GB + 256GB variant of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is priced at CNY 3,699 which is around Rs 47,000. The 12GB + 512GB model variant is priced at CNY 3,999 which is around Rs 51,000 and the top variant with 16GB + 512GB is priced at CNY 4,299 which is around Rs 55,000. Both the recently launched smartphones are available for sale in China through Vivo’s official online store.

Specifications of Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini

Talking about the specifications of the latest launched smartphone, the Vivo S50 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2750 pixels. 120Hz refresh rate has been given in this smartphone. On the other hand, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1216×2640 pixels. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate. Both the smartphones are based on Android 16 based OriginOS 6.

Talking about the battery, both the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini are powered by a 6,500mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging. According to the company, wireless charging support is offered only in the Pro Mini variant, supporting 40W wireless charging.

For performance, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Also, the standard Vivo S50 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Talking about the camera setup, both the smartphones have the same camera. It has a 50MP primary Sony sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and an ultrawide lens. The front has a 50MP selfie camera.
