Bank of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of Credit Officers. According to the notification, applications for a total of 514 Credit Officer positions will begin on December 20th. Candidates who wish to apply for these positions will be able to do so soon. The last date to apply for the Credit Officer positions is January 5th, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply soon on the official website bankofindia.bank.in.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of November 1st, 2025. The minimum age for candidates is 25, 28, and 30 years, and the maximum age is 35, 38, and 40 years. Age relaxation will also be provided to candidates belonging to special categories. SC and ST candidates will receive a five-year age relaxation, and OBC candidates will receive a three-year age relaxation.
Salary
Grade Scale-II: Rs. 67,160 to Rs. 93,960 per month.
Grade Scale-III: Rs. 99,320 to Rs. 1,05,280 per month.
Grade Scale-IV: Rs. 1,14,220 to Rs. 1,20,940 per month.
Selection Process
Candidates applying for the Credit Officer positions will be selected based on a written examination. The examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions worth 150 marks, covering English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and the relevant subject. The duration of the examination is two hours. There will also be a negative marking of one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates selected in this examination will be called for an interview.
Application Fee
All categories of candidates will have to pay an application fee to apply for the Credit Officer positions. The application fee is ₹175 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and ₹850 for general category candidates. Furthermore, all candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline.
