Actor Adivi Sesh has openly praised the film Dhurandhar calling it one of the most important cinematic experiences in India right now. Known for his intense performances and deep research-driven roles Sesh said the film stood out for its bold storytelling and emotional impact. However what impressed him the most was not just the scale of the film but the fresh perspective it brought to a story that many Indians already know. A new perspective on the 26/11 attacks Sesh who portrayed Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in Major (2022) revealed that he had extensively studied the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and Operation Black Tornado. Despite this Dhurandhar offered him something entirely new. The film explores the events from Pakistan’s side shedding light on how terror networks were enabled across the border. My favourite was undoubtedly the magnificent #AkshayeKhanna ji as Rehman Dakait and Rakesh Bedi ji as Jameel. The extraordinary music international cinematography and overall craft made for a memorable experience.
