Philippine Airlines has been named the most punctual in the Asia-Pacific for the first time, achieving an on-time performance rate of 83.12%, according to London-based travel data analytics firm Cirium.
Air New Zealand ranked second, followed by Japan’s All Nippon Airways.
Singapore Airlines finished fourth in the 2025 ranking.
Cirium defines a flight as “on time” if it arrives or departs within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled time.
The data used to consolidate the rankings was taken from more than 600 sources of real-time flight information, said the report.
In 2024, Japan Airlines was the most punctual carrier in the Asia-Pacific.
Philippine Airlines was founded in 1941 and is the oldest operating commercial airline in Asia.
It primarily operates international routes across Asia, North America, and Oceania, along with select domestic routes.
