Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi said in a press conference held at Rajkot District Collector Office on Monday that under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a coordination meeting was organized with the industrialists of Saurashtra-Kutch in Rajkot on Monday, in which the difficulties, problems and various issues of small and big industrialists of the state were immediately resolved so that they could invest more and develop their industries. Along with this, a group meeting was also held with all the departments.
He said that manufacturing sector is the growth engine of Rajkot, Gujarat and in the coming days, Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) is going to be organized in Rajkot under the guidance of CM Bhupendra Patel to attract more investments from the country and the world. He said that earlier the first Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference had been successfully organized in Mehsana.
Harsh Sanghvi said that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference on January 11 at Marwari University in Rajkot. He expressed hope that large scale investment will come to Saurashtra and Kutch during and after this conference.
He said that Rajkot is progressing very fast in all sectors including manufacturing. But, their meeting was organized today so that development can happen at a greater pace and traders, industrialists and manufacturers can work more easily.
He further said that today promotional assistance worth Rs 956.51 crore has been distributed from Rajkot to 10,435 industrialists of the state under various industrial policies of the Gujarat Government.
Sanction letters worth a total amount of Rs 661.73 crore were distributed to 137 industrialists of Saurashtra and Kutch under schemes like Textile, Incentive to Industries, Environment, Industrial Infrastructure Scheme, Scheme to Small Industries.
He further said that Gujarat is the fastest state giving incentives in the country. The Industries Department is working day and night to make this process even faster.
Referring to Gujarat’s success in bringing maximum investment in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, he expressed hope that in the coming days also, the Gujarat government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will continue on the path of development by bringing maximum investment in the state with the cooperation of all the citizens.
On the other hand, Minister in-charge Jitubhai Vaghani said that industrialists and businessmen are making important contribution to the economy of the state through manufacturing and trade.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, a meeting was held with the industrialists here to solve the problems of the industrialists on the spot and to immediately resolve the policy issues at the state level, which is welcome.
