Lucknow. The Yogi Government of UP has now made Lucknow’s culture, historical buildings and Nawabi heritage even easier for tourists. Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has started ‘Lucknow Darshan’ electric double-decker bus service from Tuesday, through which tourists will be able to take a well-organized tour of the major tourist places of the city in a single day. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh flagged off this special service from 1090 intersection. On this occasion, he said that this service will not only introduce the tourists to the heritage of Lucknow, but is also an important step towards environmental protection, as the bus is completely electric.

In this bus operated by Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, tourists can choose between morning or evening tour package. Comfortable seating, guided tour and light refreshments will also be included during the journey.
The bus route will remain like this
The bus route passes through Hazratganj, the heart of Lucknow. It reaches the Residency Complex via Raj Bhavan, GPO, Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, Globe Park and Chhatar Manzil, where tourists will be given 40 minutes for historical observation. After this the bus will again return to Hazratganj via Sibtainabad Imambara, where a special 40-minute tour of the Legislative Assembly building will be conducted. Further via Cathedral Church Marg, the bus will reach Uttar Pradesh Darshan Park, where there is a provision of stopping for 30 minutes. The final leg of the yatra will end at 1090 intersection passing through Ambedkar Park and Gomti River Front.
This tour package includes entry fees to the Residency and Uttar Pradesh Darshan Park, along with special entry to the Legislative Assembly Building. This service will be especially useful for those tourists who want to see the cultural glimpse of Lucknow in limited time.
