New Delhi6 January. Politics has heated up over objectionable slogans raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Many Union Ministers and other leaders have also criticized this sloganeering.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the JNU administration, in a letter written to the police station in-charge of Vasant Kunj (North), registered an FIR and demanded investigation into the matter. After the complaint received from JNU administration, FIR has been registered in Vansat Kunj (North) police station. Now the police of Vansatkunj police station will investigate further in this matter.

Slogans were raised ‘Modi-Shah’s grave will be dug on JNU land’

It is noteworthy that on Monday night in JNU, some students had raised controversial slogans against PM Modi and Amit Shah. The 35 second video of sloganeering is now going viral. In the video, students are seen raising slogans ‘Modi-Shah’s grave will be dug on JNU soil’.

Meanwhile, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Ririju said that India will be free from such sick people. Rijiju, while sharing the video of sloganeering on social media platform Kiren Rijiju further wrote that we live in a country where the Prime Minister is openly abused. Still, do these mentally ill people want freedom?

Giriraj Singh said – the opposition JNU was made a den of breaking the country

On the other hand, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Tuesday accused the opposition of turning the university campus into a ‘den of anti-nationals’ over alleged controversial slogans raised against PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in JNU.

‘Modi and Shah will dig the graves of the country’s enemies’

Giriraj said, ‘These slogans were raised on the campus after the Supreme Court denied bail to Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case. An alleged video of this incident is circulating on social media. They say that they will dig the graves of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah. I want to say that Modi and Shah will dig the graves of the country’s enemies.
