Ranchi: Bharatiya Janata Party has announced its district presidents in Jharkhand, which is expected to accelerate organizational activities. After the approval of the central leadership, many old presidents in 27 districts have got the responsibility again, while some new faces have also been given the opportunity. The meeting held on Friday at the BJP office in Baxideepa regarding the BJP District President elections gave a clear indication that the party is now moving towards expanding the organization in the district in mission mode. In the meeting, along with reviewing the current situation of the organization, there was a deep discussion about the upcoming strategy, election process and the role of the workers. Kisan Morcha state president cum district election in-charge Pawan Sahu, election observer cum former Simaria MLA Kishun Das, co-observer and state working committee member Nagendra Pandey, election co-in-charge Bindeshwar Oraon and state working committee member Omprakash Singh were prominently present in the meeting. During the meeting, it was unanimously agreed to make Ajay Pankaj the Lohardaga District President of BJP. Its formal announcement will be made by the state committee.

After Ajay Pankaj’s decision to become the District President, an atmosphere of enthusiasm was seen in the party office. The workers warmly welcomed and congratulated the newly nominated District President Ajay Pankaj. Addressing the meeting, Pawan Sahu said that the real strength of BJP is its strong organizational structure. He stressed that activating and strengthening the organization up to the booth level is the top priority of the party. Only with the active participation of the workers, BJP will be successful in taking the public welfare schemes of the Central Government and the policies of the party to the people. He described organizational discipline, coordination and constant communication as the keys to BJP’s success. Talking to the media, Ajay Pankaj said that he will try to live up to the trust reposed in him by the party leadership with full devotion, honesty and dedication. He said that his priority will be to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, activate the workers up to the booth level and effectively convey the schemes of the Central Government to the general public. Laying special emphasis on connecting youth, women and farmers with the party, he said that with the collective cooperation of all senior leaders and workers, BJP will be taken to new heights in Lohardaga district.

In the meeting, the workers also expressed happiness over senior BJP leaders of Lohardaga district Praveen Kumar Singh and Omprakash Singh getting place in the State Working Committee. Calling it a matter of pride for the district, the leaders said that this will give new energy, strength and clear direction to the organization. A large number of senior leaders, officials, divisional presidents, Morcha and cell representatives and workers were present in the meeting, including former Mati Kala Board Chairman Srichand Prachi, Balkrishna Singh, former District President Rajmohan Ram, Ajay Dubey, Sajjan Kumar, State Vice President Yuva Morcha Ajatshatru, Advocate Devashish Kar, Anil Pandey, Praveen Kumar Bharti, Lal Vishwajit Nath Shahdev, Jaganandan Puran, Anil Oraon, Vivek Chauhan, Manish Shikhar.
