Health Desk. Today’s hectic life, wrong eating habits, stress and lack of sleep are directly affecting the hormones of men. The most important among these hormones is testosterone, which is associated with men’s physical strength, mental balance and fertility. When the level of this hormone starts decreasing in the body, its signs become clearly visible.
1. Constant fatigue and weakness
The most common symptom of testosterone deficiency is feeling tired even without much effort. There is a lack of energy in the body and even daily tasks begin to seem like a burden. Persistence of weakness even after adequate rest can be a sign of deficiency of this hormone.
2. Decrease in muscle strength
This hormone plays an important role in the development and strength of muscles. When testosterone starts decreasing, muscles start becoming loose, strength decreases and body fat starts increasing, especially around the stomach.
3. Mood swings and irritability
Low testosterone affects not only the body but also the mind. Problems like irritability, sadness, stress and sometimes depression may increase in such men. Getting angry over small things can also be a sign of this.
4. Problems with sleep and attention
Lack of this hormone affects the quality of sleep. It is common to wake up frequently, have insomnia or feel lethargic throughout the day. Along with this, lack of concentration and weakening of memory can also be seen.
