Dishom Guru Shibu Soren’s 82nd birth anniversary today, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will interact with students
Remembering his father and Jharkhand creator Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, Chief Minister Hemant Soren posted on Instagram and wrote that today is the birth anniversary of my Baba, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren ji.
For me, this is not just the birthday of a great leader, but the memory of a father who taught me the art of living, taught me to struggle and most importantly, to stand firm on my dignity, values and truth without giving in.
Baba never bowed his head before injustice throughout his life. He sacrificed everything to protect water, forest, land and tribal identity. I have seen him tired many times, but never broken. His unwavering willpower and determination are still alive within me.
As a son, I learned from him simplicity, the courage to never turn away from difficulties, and always considered power as a means of public service.
Baba, I will continue to follow the path shown by you and the ideals given by you throughout my life, no matter how many challenges come my way.
Jai Jharkhand! Jai Dishom Guru!
May your memory always remain immortal.
