Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Modi government has implemented the ‘Developed India-Ji Ram Ji Act’, whose basic vision is to make India a developed nation by 2047. Rijiju stressed that this Act will start from our villages only because the country will progress only when the villages become strong.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju told reporters on Tuesday that the Vikas Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Act is completely different from MNREGA and there is no similarity between the two. He said that MNREGA could not be abolished in the last 11 years because it was made extremely complex legally. Now the government has come up with a better and effective law, which will provide real benefits to the rural population of India.

Rijiju had reached Lucknow to attend the party workshop to Vikas Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Yojana organized by Bharatiya Janata Party, Uttar Pradesh at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. During this, while talking to journalists, he said that despite spending about Rs 11 lakh crore on MNREGA, the expected rural development could not happen.

He alleged that MNREGA money was spent even where employment was not required and the scheme became a ‘guarantee of loot’.

The Union Minister said that under the Vikas Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Act, employment will now be guaranteed for 125 days instead of 100 days. He claimed that there would be no scope for misuse of funds in the new system and every scheme would be monitored from bottom to top.

Rijiju said that strong infrastructure to basic education, health and rural water supply will be created, which will achieve the goal of ‘Developed India’. He also said that the aim of the government is to reach every village of Uttar Pradesh about the benefits of Vikas Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Act.

He said, “This is a historic plan. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country. If it is successful here, its impact will be visible in the entire country.” The minister said that do not get confused by the false propaganda.

Even at the time of CAA, the opposition had tried to mislead Muslims by spreading similar propaganda that citizenship would be taken away due to this law, but till date it has not been taken away from anyone, what?

He said that the new law will be welcomed in every home. Avoiding the question regarding Congress’s demand of giving wages of Rs 400, he said that one should not deviate from the topic.
