Mahindra has officially started deliveries of the newly launched Mahindra XUV 7XO in the Indian market, bringing good news for SUV enthusiasts. Bookings for the SUV are already open, with prices starting at ₹13.6 lakh (ex-showroom).

Initially, Mahindra will deliver only the higher variants — AX7, AX7T, and AX7L. The SUV is also offered in AX, AX3, and AX5 trims, which will be delivered at a later stage.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO shares its powertrain options with the popular XUV700. Buyers can choose between:

• 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 203 hp

• 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 185 hp

Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, offering flexibility for different driving preferences.

The XUV 7XO gets a more aggressive and premium exterior design. Key updates include:

• A newly styled front grille

• Sharper LED headlights with bold boomerang-shaped DRLs

• Revised front and rear bumpers

• New 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels

• Updated taillights with a hexagonal lighting pattern

From the side, the SUV retains the familiar silhouette of the XUV700, with the new wheels being the most noticeable change.

Inside the cabin, the XUV 7XO offers a futuristic and tech-focused layout. The highlight is a triple-screen dashboard, with each screen measuring 12.3 inches, creating a cockpit-like feel.

For the first time, Mahindra has integrated ChatGPT and Alexa support, allowing voice-based interaction and smart assistance inside the car.

Mahindra has packed the XUV 7XO with premium and advanced features, including:

• 540-degree camera system for enhanced visibility

• Ventilated seats for the first and second rows

• Touch-sensitive climate and audio control panel

• 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos

• Wireless phone charging

• Level 2 ADAS, tuned specifically for Indian road conditions

With powerful engines, a bold new design, a tech-loaded cabin, and advanced safety features, the Mahindra XUV 7XO positions itself as a strong contender in the premium SUV segment. The start of deliveries marks the beginning of its real-world presence on Indian roads—and it clearly aims to surprise buyers with its feature list.
