The report suggests Kris’ concern isn’t necessarily about the relationship itself, but about ensuring the Kardashian-Jenner business empire stays legally safeguarded.

Sources quoted in the report claim that Kris has allegedly been reminding Kylie frequently about putting legal paperwork in place before any proposal or wedding plans happen. In simpler terms, love can be romantic, but Kris reportedly wants the paperwork to be practical. 

The core of the alleged issue is money and scale. Reports estimate Kylie Jenner’s net worth in the hundreds of millions, while Chalamet, despite being one of the most in-demand actors of his generation, has a much smaller reported fortune in comparison. That gap is reportedly what is driving Kris’ push for legal protection. 

Some sources also suggest the concern comes from Kylie’s reputation for going all-in emotionally when she’s in love. Insiders allegedly believe Kris doesn’t want strong feelings to blur smart financial decision-making, especially if the couple reaches the point of engagement or marriage.
