On Friday, a meeting was held with public representatives in the special room of the Collectorate located at the district headquarters regarding the preparation of action plan for the Public Works Department and Irrigation Department. During the meeting, Legislative Council member Shyam Narayan Singh alias Vineet Singh, MLA Ghorawal Dr. Anil Kumar Maurya, District Panchayat President Radhika Patel, District Magistrate BN Singh, representatives of MLA Sadar were present.
During this period, accommodation facility for the employees to stay in the circuit house and arrangement for painting and painting of the boundary wall of the circuit house, accommodation near Shivdwar temple, marking of land for construction of helipad in Ghoraval, action plan to stop the erosion taking place near Kudari temple including Patvadh Basuwari road and repair and beautification work of the post bungalow of PWD department and irrigation department in the district along with construction/repair of important roads. Detailed discussions were held while preparing the action plan.
During this, the construction of bypass in Robertsganj was discussed, on which the public representatives agreed that it is very important to construct a bypass in Robertsganj. During this period, the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation Department was directed to make a proposal for control in the areas which get flooded with excessive water during the rainy season and there is a high possibility of erosion from the rivers.
During this, the District Magistrate said that the Honorable Chief Minister has directed that helipads should be made at important places in the district, so that there is no need to make new helipads during the VVIP visit, hence an action plan should be made to make helipads by identifying the important places in the district. He said that the action plan will be given concrete shape by following whatever suggestions and proposals have been given by the public representatives.
