'I was on The Traitors - Here's one thing BBC need to do to improve show'

One former The Traitors star has shared one way he thinks show bosses should improve it. Series two finalist Andrew Jenkins loves watching along with the rest of the UK, but he thinks that fans could get even more involved with the BBC's hit murder-mystery show.

Speaking on behalf of Buzz Bingo, exclusively to Express.co.uk, Andrew suggested: "I think it'd be good if you could play along at home, where you don't know who any of the traitors are, not just the secret traitor. I think that'd be really good, a play-along and interactive home game." He added: "When you sit at home, I'm the same as everybody else in this country. You're watching it and thinking that it looks obvious who the traitors are. However, once you're in the castle, it's not as obvious. I think it'd be nice if you could play along the same as the contestants in the castle."

When asked what needs to be done to win the show, Andrew joked: "Wow, if I knew that, I'd be £95,000 better off myself! Maybe I'm not the best person to ask.

"I think it's difficult when you're a Traitor, as you've seen, there's a lot of backstabbing. I think in order to win it, they have to work together."

The latest series of BBC's The Traitors has had viewers on the edge of their seats, particularly with the introduction of the new Secret Traitor twist that threw the castle into disarray.

Two Traitors have already been eliminated from the game, with Hugo making history as the earliest ousted Traitor in a UK series.

Fiona, who was originally the secret Traitor before a gripping reveal, soon followed suit after she and fellow Traitor Rachel had a showdown in the turret.

This leaves just two Traitors remaining - Rachel and Stephen - who are now under increasing scrutiny as the game approaches its climax.

Regrettably for fans, Series 4 of The Traitors is nearing its conclusion. The grand finale of The Traitors Series 4 will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer on Friday, January 23. The episode will begin at the later time of 8.30pm and conclude at 9.45pm.
