In Mohali, singer B Praak has reportedly been threatened with death by an individual claiming ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The caller demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore, warning of dire consequences if their ultimatum is ignored, according to officials on Saturday.

The threat directed at the popular Punjabi-Hindi singer included a chilling message that he would be 'buried in the ground' if the money was not paid.

Authorities have been alerted, and an investigation is currently in progress.

According to a complaint lodged with the Mohali police, the first contact occurred on January 5 when a call was made to Dilnoor, a Punjabi singer associated with B Praak.

Dilnoor was unable to answer the call at that moment.

The next day, he received another call from an international number. Finding it suspicious, he briefly answered before disconnecting. Shortly after, he received a voice message from the same number.

In the audio, the caller identified himself as Arju Bishnoi, demanding Rs 10 crore from B Praak.

The message stated, 'Convey to B Praak that we require 10 crore. You have one week. Travel wherever you wish, but if anyone connected to him is found nearby, we will take action.'

The threat escalated further, with the caller ominously stating that failure to meet the demand would result in B Praak being 'reduced to dust.'

This voice message has been submitted to the police as part of the ongoing investigation.

Following the threats, Dilnoor filed a formal complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Mohali.

Police officials confirmed they are investigating the matter to trace the origin of the calls and ascertain the caller's identity.
