Every element in 'Dhurandhar' has received appreciation and love from all quarters—from the performances of the actors, cinematography, songs, character designs, and more. One of the songs that garnered love was 'Shararat', which features in the movie during the wedding of Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun's characters. The song has been crooned by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas . The latter has also penned the lyrics of the track. And recently, Jasmine opened up about what she was briefed about the song.

Jasmine Sandlas talks about 'Shararat' song from 'Dhurandhar'In conversation with ETimes , Jasmine Sandlas shared, " Aditya Dhar gave me a brief that the song was going to be performed in a wedding scene in 'Dhurandhar'. It needed to be a sultry dance song with innocent lyrics. It was a month-long session with composer Shashwat to write songs for 'Dhurandhar'."

Jasmine further stated that a lot of changes were made in the song multiple times. She said, "'Shararat' was written and rewritten many times, and then we all agreed on the version that the world is listening to."
