Rajkot. Coming down hard on the heinous crimes against innocent children, a special court in Rajkot on Saturday awarded death sentence to a criminal who brought shame to humanity. The court ordered death sentence to 30-year-old Ram Singh Ter Singh, who raped and subjected a 7-year-old girl to inhuman cruelty. This case was not only of rape, but also of extreme cruelty of the culprit.
During the incident, the accused had inserted a 5-inch long iron rod in the private part of the innocent girl. After this horrific attack, the condition of the girl became very critical. A special team of doctors succeeded in saving the girl’s life after many hours of effort and complex surgery.
Cruelty was done to an innocent child on 4th December.
The incident took place on December 4, 2025, when the accused lured a girl playing in the field towards the bushes and brutalized her. The girl was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition, where a team of doctors saved her life after a complex operation. This incident shocked the entire Gujarat.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police took immediate action. The accused was arrested on December 8 and the charge sheet was filed in just 11 days. During the investigation, important evidence was recovered on the trail of the accused and the DNA report also confirmed his involvement. Rajkot Rural SP Vijay Singh Gurjar said that along with medical, technical and circumstantial evidence, the identification parade of the girl became the strongest link in the case.
