Krishna Paksha Ekadashi of Margashirsha month, which is known as Utpanna Ekadashi. This Ekadashi is celebrated with devotion and religious enthusiasm across the country. This holy date dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu is considered very auspicious in the Hindu calendar, because according to the belief, Ekadashi Devi appeared on this day. At the same time, on this day devotees also worship Lord Vishnu at home with special rituals, fasting and chanting mantras.
According to religious beliefs, fasting on Utpanna Ekadashi is considered to destroy sins, get auspicious results and fulfill wishes.
