Wrexham's match with Norwich City on Saturday was momentarily halted due to a medical emergency. Players from both teams headed down the tunnel after half-time for a stoppage with the game level at 1-1.
Anis Ben Slimane opened the scoring for the Canaries at the Racecourse Ground with less than 10 minutes played, before Sam Smith drew the hosts level midway through the opening 45. While both teams emerged for the second-half, just five minutes were played before the game was brought to a standstill due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
Wrexham wrote on X: "Due to a medical emergency in the crowd the game has been paused and the players have left the field," while Norwich added: "The referee has stopped play due to a medical emergency in the crowd. Our thoughts are with those affected."

Moments later, the Red Dragons returned to social media to add: "Our best wishes are with the supporter who has been taken ill from today’s game. The players will return to the field at 16:20 for a five-minute warm up before the game resumes."
Norwich, meanwhile, wrote: "The game will restart after a five-minute warm up for both teams. Our best wishes go out to the supporter who required medical assistance."
After the restart, Norwich went on to win the match away from home thanks to Jovon Makama's 59th minute goal.
It comes as Wrexham have adapted well to the Championship, having secured back-to-back-to-back promotion from the National League in the past three seasons.
As things stand, the club - owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney - sit eighth in the league table with 10 wins, 10 draws and seven losses to show for their efforts.

While automatic promotion looks out of reach at present, given they sit eight points behind second-place Middlesbrough and 14 behind league leaders, Coventry, a play-off finish is not out of question.
Norwich, meanwhile, are battling to retain their place in the Championship for 2026/27.
As a result of their win, the Canaries sit 22nd in the standings, with seven wins, as many draws and 14 losses, despite usually holding their own in the second-tier of English football.
As a result of Portsmouth's 1-0 win over a rock bottom Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon, Norwich are just one point from safety.
