On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh conveyed his best wishes to the residents of the state on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, expressing hopes for renewed enthusiasm and energy.
In a message shared on the social media platform 'X', Adityanath stated, 'Heartfelt greetings to all devotees and residents of the state on this significant festival of Mauni Amavasya, which inspires acts of charity, fasting, and sacrifice.'
He also welcomed the 'akhadas, religious leaders, saints, practitioners, those observing the month-long retreat, and devotees' who gathered for the sacred bathing at the confluence. He expressed his wish that 'may the blessings of the life-giving Ganga and the Sun God fulfill everyone's desires, bringing new energy, enthusiasm, and joy into their lives.'
