Fans of period dramasand writer Agatha Christie were delighted when Netflix's adaptation of Seven Dials finally arrived. The British miniseries, which was filmed in Bath and Bristol, stars Mia McKenna-Bruce as Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent.

Mia Sasha McKenna-Bruce is a 28-year-old English actress who first gained prominence as Tee Taylor in a number of Tracy Beaker series. The character, who first appeared on screens in 2010, starred in Tracy Beaker Returns, The Dumping Ground and The Tracy Beaker Survival Files.

Her film credits include Persuasion and How to Have Sex, and for the latter she won a the BAFTA Rising Star Award and was nominated for the European Film Award for Best Actress.

Born in 1997, she was raised in Bromley and after studying dance, her first role was as a ballet girl in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical.

Early on in her career, she appeared in EastEnders as Penny Branning, the daughter of Jack (Scott Maslen), having two guest stints in 2008.

After seeing the actress in her latest Netflix series, fans are also keen to find out more about her height, and she is in fact 1.52 metres tall, which is 4ft 9inches.

The star previously spoke to 1883 Magazine about her height, whilst discussing her role in the film Persuasion, in which she starred alongside Ben Bailey Smith.

She said: "We were both cast over Zoom, and they knew that Ben was tall and they knew that I was small, but Ben is really tall and I’m really small.

"So, on the first day of filming when we walked into the house, it was really funny to see both of us together. Bless the camera team because they were always like, 'How do we get them both in the shot together?'"

Confirming her height, she added: "Well, I never even made five feet! I’m just under five feet. People are always like, 'Oh my God, you’re so small!'"

As for her personal life, the star was engaged to actor Tom Leach in February 2022 and they got married in August 2024. They first met in 2019 on the film set of The Rebels.

Tom has otherwise had guest roles in Silent Witness and Casualty. Mia spoke to British Vogue about his proposal, sharing: "He made me a lovely breakfast spread with crumpets – because I love crumpets.

“Then he gave me a card, which actually isn’t like Tom, he’s not really one for romance. It said, ‘Are you ready to get married, yes or no?’ with boxes to tick.

"He reminded me in his speech at the wedding that I never actually ticked the box that said yes. I was too busy screaming.”

In August 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Leo. Mia shares the profound changes motherhood has brought to her life on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.

She said: “I love, love, love my work. But now I love it for a whole different reason, because I’m like this is going to give me the chance to travel with Leo, it’s going to give him such amazing experiences. He’s going to be able to look back one day and be like, ‘Oh my God, my mum was at the BAFTAs and I was like six months old.’ Like, surely he’s going to think I’m a cool mum.”
