Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have registered a case against six persons on charges of allegedly creating fake documents to illegally grab a site belonging to Nanjegowda, brother of former MP Tejaswini Gowda.
The case has been registered based on a complaint filed by B L Sriramesh, husband of Tejaswini Gowda. The accused have been identified as M Narayanaswamy, Muniraju, M Muniswamy, M Mamata, S Santosh and Srikanth, all residents of Nagashettihalli in RMV 2nd Stage. Following the registration of the case, CCB police have issued notices directing the accused to appear for questioning.
According to the complaint, an A-khata site located at Basaveshwara Layout in Nagashettihalli, RMV 2nd Stage, was gifted to Tejaswini Gowda by her husband in 2014. The property was later transferred through a gift deed to her brother M Nanjegowda. Since then, the site has remained under the possession of the family, with regular tax payments made to the concerned civic authorities.
However, with the alleged intention of grabbing the site, the accused are said to have created forged documents. It is further alleged that the Gangangar sub-registrar registered the property in the names of the accused on July 9, 2025, without obtaining mandatory records such as revenue documents, Aadhaar cards, family tree certificates, property-related records and partition documents. Based on these allegations, the CCB police have taken up further investigation.
