Enthusiasts of period dramas and Agatha Christie were thrilled when Netflix's adaptation of Seven Dials finally landed. The British miniseries, shot in Bath and Bristol, features Mia McKenna-Bruce as Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent.

Mia Sasha McKenna-Bruce is a 28-year-old English actress who initially rose to fame as Tee Taylor across several Tracy Beaker series. The character, who debuted on screens in 2010, appeared in Tracy Beaker Returns, The Dumping Ground and The Tracy Beaker Survival Files.

Her film work includes Persuasion and How to Have Sex, with the latter earning her the BAFTA Rising Star Award and a nomination for the European Film Award for Best Actress.

Born in 1997, she grew up in Bromley and following dance training, her debut role was as a ballet girl in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical.

Early in her career, she featured in EastEnders as Penny Branning, daughter of Jack (Scott Maslen), making two guest appearances in 2008.

Following the actress's latest Netflix outing, fans are curious about her height, and she stands at 1.52 metres, which is 4ft 9inches.

The star previously discussed her stature with 1883 Magazine whilst talking about her role in Persuasion, where she appeared alongside Ben Bailey Smith.

She remarked: "We were both cast over Zoom, and they knew that Ben was tall and they knew that I was small, but Ben is really tall and I'm really small.

"So, on the first day of filming when we walked into the house, it was really funny to see both of us together. Bless the camera team because they were always like, 'How do we get them both in the shot together?'"

Speaking about her stature, she revealed: "Well, I never even made five feet! I'm just under five feet. People are always like, 'Oh my God, you're so small!'"

In her private life, the actress became engaged to actor Tom Leach in February 2022, tying the knot in August 2024. The pair initially crossed paths in 2019 whilst working on the film set of The Rebels.

Tom has also appeared in guest roles on Silent Witness and Casualty. Speaking to British Vogue about the proposal, Mia recalled: "He made me a lovely breakfast spread with crumpets - because I love crumpets.

"Then he gave me a card, which actually isn't like Tom, he's not really one for romance. It said, 'Are you ready to get married, yes or no?' with boxes to tick.

"He reminded me in his speech at the wedding that I never actually ticked the box that said yes. I was too busy screaming."

In August 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Leo. Mia has opened up about the significant impact motherhood has had on her life during an appearance on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.

She expressed: "I love, love, love my work. But now I love it for a whole different reason, because I'm like this is going to give me the chance to travel with Leo, it's going to give him such amazing experiences. He's going to be able to look back one day and be like, 'Oh my God, my mum was at the BAFTAs and I was like six months old.' Like, surely he's going to think I'm a cool mum."
