Ndamukong Suh insists the Buffalo Bills will overcome their demons and win the Super Bowl in Santa Clara. The Divisional Rounds take place this weekend, with eight teams ready to battle it out for a spot in the final game.
Former defensive tackle Suh won a Super Bowl with Tom Brady at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the tail end of his career and is ready for another team to take the glory. The ex-NFL star, who now appears on Sky Sports as a presenter, spoke exclusively to the Express about who he believes will secure their first ring this year. Suh said: "I would love to see the Buffalo Bills take it all.
"I think they have a great opportunity. Selfishly, I want Brandin Cooks to win a ring, so he can stop playing football and hang out with me.
"But ultimately, I think they're in a great situation. Not only because, yes, Mahomes is out, but Jackson is out, but aside from all of that, I think they're the most dangerous team, and they're very, very much so under the radar.
"When each and every single one of the last four or five years, they've been in the mix. They just haven't been able to get over the hump. So now, whether they can go and do that on the road remains to be seen."
The Bills have seen the majority of their typical competition drop out before the playoffs, with Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs missing the postseason for the first time since 2014. The Baltimore Ravens went 8-9 in the regular season and saw their playoff hopes slip through their fingers to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Suh believes that the Bills will have competition from the NFC side, though, with the Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears proving to be tough battles this season. He added: "The biggest surprise I would probably say Seattle and Chicago. I mean, I never would have thought Sam Darnold would have won the NFC West, let alone have the record they have, and then obviously be the number one seed in the NFC.
"Ultimately, I mean, they've been an under-the-radar team for such a long period of time. You talk about the Legion of Boom, especially in my heydays, to now where it's really built in and around that offence, which is led by Sam Darnold.
"And then Chicago with Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson. You see the great comebacks that they've been able to have, especially in the last two minutes of a lot of big games and really against big rivals."
