BCECE JR Vacancy 2026: The Health Department of the Government of Bihar (BCECE) has invited applications for Junior Resident recruitment in 2026. A total of 1445 positions are available for a one-year tenure in various medical colleges and hospitals across the state. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
Eligibility Criteria
For this recruitment, candidates must possess an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC). Only candidates who have completed their MBBS from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. The maximum age limit is as follows: Unreserved Male 37 years, Unreserved Female 40 years, BC/EBC (Male and Female) 40 years, and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female) 42 years.
Selection Process
Selection for the BCECE Junior Resident recruitment is primarily based on academic merit and document verification. First, a list of eligible candidates will be prepared and uploaded to the official website.
After their names appear on the list, candidates will be called for counseling and document verification with their original documents. Upon successful verification of documents, the candidate will be given a final appointment and will serve in the position for the stipulated tenure.
Salary
Selected Junior Residents will receive a fixed monthly honorarium for their one-year tenure. Candidates selected for the Junior Resident position will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 65,000. Important Dates
