Sir Keir Starmer will hold an emergency press conference on Monday over the Greenland crisis.
Donald Trump has threatened to slap tariffs on the UK and other European allies until a deal is reached for the US to buy the semi-autonomous territory of Denmark.
But in a bombshell statement, Britain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Finland warned that "tariff threats undermine transatlantic relations".
And Danish prime minister Mette Frederiksen also warned the American president that "Europe will not be blackmailed".
