As we enter our final week of The Traitors, we’re already mourning the loss of a weekly dose of fashion inspiration from Claudia Winkleman. Her supremely wearable and approachable combination of knitwear, chunky boots and tailored coats has been setting trends this winter, and her most recent look was no exception.
During Friday 16’s episode, Claudia wore a wonderful Fringed Wool Jumper from Cos which was on sale, down from £135 to £54. Although a size or two were still in stock during the show they’ve now, naturally, sold out, which means we’re on the hunt for a similar style fringed knit to wear on repeat this winter.

To help copy another of Claudia’s effortlessly cool and stylish looks, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite black fringed knits on the market right now, from sleeveless sweater vests to jumpers and cardigans. We’ve also found picks to fit all budgets, with knitwear from less than £33.
Mikuta The Black Frayed Knit Sweater – £205 (was £410)If Claudia hadn’t been wearing her Cos jumper, we think this is exactly what she would have picked as an alternative. It’s oversized, made from a combination of alpaca superfine and merino wool, and features asymmetric fringing all over for that effortlessly cool vibe Claudia always gives off.
ASOS Design Rib Jumper With Fringe Sleeve Trim in Black – £35
If you want a slightly more understated version that’s still got a nod to Claudia’s styling, this fringe-trimmed version from ASOS is ideal. It has a simple black chunky fisherman knit with fringe detailing down the arms, and at £35 it’s a great budget-friendly pick.
Asos Design Looping Detail Coatigan In Black – £75Want something that’s easy to switch up how you style it? Then this ASOS coatigan is the perfect choice. It’s covered top to bottom with looping fringe for a chunky, playful look and has a button fastening up the front, which lets you wear it open and layered over other pieces, or closed either on its own or over a sharply tailored shirt or top with a statement collar.
LouLou de Saison Gabin Fringe Sweater – £576 (was £800)The priciest pick on our list, but also possibly our favourite, this is a true statement-making piece to keep in your wardrobe. Its relaxed, slouchy fit and oversized fringe details make it a showstopper that’s still surprisingly easy to wear – just copy Claudia’s skinny fit leggings and chunky boots for an effortless outfit.
H&M Fringed Sweater Vest – £32.99
Recently landing in H&M’s new-in section is this fringe-covered black sweater vest that’s ideal for winter layering. The deep V-neck at the front and back mean you can layer it over all different necklines, and it’s perfect for getting the look without trying to cram fringe-covered sleeves into your coat.
