New Delhi. The process of election of BJP national president has started. Party’s working president Nitin Naveen has filed his nomination for the post of party president. Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have become its proponents. Many senior leaders including JP Nadda and Hardeep Singh Puri were present during his nomination process.

Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, presidents of state units, MPs and other officials also arrived. The occasion was marked by organizational unity and strong support for the party. Let us tell you that the name of the new national president of BJP will be formally announced on January 20.
Let us tell you that Nitin Naveen is the son of late Naveen. His father started politics from JP movement. Nitin Naveen was born in 1980. However, his father died in 2005. After this, by-election was held on his seat and Nitin Naveen became MLA. He had contested the elections from Patna West region. After this, he continued to win big on this seat.
After this, in 2016, he was made the BJP Yuva Morcha State President. After this, he continued to move ahead in politics and started being active in the organization. He became MLA five times and also held ministerial post three times. After the brilliant performance of BJP in the 2025 assembly elections, he was given the responsibility of working president of BJP. At the same time, after January 20, he will start working as the President of BJP.
