A golden opportunity for government jobs has opened up for young doctors who have completed their MBBS in Bihar, with 1445 vacancies for Junior Residents. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has issued a notification for this recruitment. Eligibility Criteria:
The basic eligibility criterion for the Junior Resident position is that the candidate must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution. The candidate must be an Indian citizen. The maximum age limit for the General category is 37 years. For female candidates in the General category, the age limit is 40 years. For Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes, the age limit is 40 years, and for SC/ST candidates, it is 42 years. Candidates with disabilities will receive an age relaxation of up to 10 years.

The candidate's age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. After applying, the Health Department will prepare a merit list, and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. All candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 2250.

Online registration can be done until February 6, 10 PM.
Registration fees can be paid until February 6, 11:59 PM.
The application form can be edited from February 7 to February 8. The list for the counselling program will be released on February 11th.
