Brooklyn Beckham's rumoured feud with his parents and siblings has been confirmed by the eldest child of Victoria and David in an explosive social media post.
Brooklyn’s Instagram story read: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."
It comes after the 26-year-old had previously rubbished the story of him being a servant to his wife’s every command calling the narrative “deeply misogynistic”, telling his friends he won’t stand for her being “vilified.”

Brooklyn wrote: "For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."
"The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety.”
"The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was 'not blood and 'not family.' Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.
"Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer."
One expert believes Brooklyn's outburst against his superstar family has been a long time in coming and things may never be the same forthe Beckham brand again.
The 26-year-old’s 821 word Instagram statement was a toe-curling indictment of the family’s social veneer that hides a system of 'control', with one flashpoint being Lady Victoria stealing her son's first dance with his wifeand moving “inappropriately” with him.
Phil Macleod , Hypnotherapist, Mental Health Expert and Founder of Thought Reader, told the Mirror that “from a psychological perspective,” driving his freight train of grievances at the Beckham empire at this moment makes complete sense.
Perhaps the most excruciating part of the statement was Posh's alleged hijacking of what should have been a romantic moment with Nicola Peltz-Beckham. Brooklyn said: "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
Macleod explained that “when someone is carrying a significant mental and emotional load, there often comes a point where they feel compelled to release it.”
“Public actions like this often signal not a desire for conflict, but a need for emotional release and validation, which is why Brooklyn may have now spoken out on his social media,” Macleod added.
Nicola’s husband said the conflict has lasted "years" and he had made "every effort" to keep the turmoil private until now, claiming his parents tried to "ruin" his relationship with his billionaire wife.
Macleod said: “The situation surrounding Brooklyn Beckham and his immediate family hasn’t happened overnight. Family tensions like this usually build gradually over a long period, often bubbling beneath the surface, long before anything becomes visible to the public or other parties.”
“When you strip it back, this appears rooted in complex family dynamics, differing perceptions, and unresolved emotional experiences.
“All of the family have grown up in the spotlight and had to deal with the usual family tensions with a global lens focused on them, forcing them to a public persona while trying to deal with deeply personal situations, making it harder to resolve."
Macleod explained Brooklyn may have seen Instagram as his only way to reclaim the narrative of his own life. “Social media often becomes an outlet for that release, a voice that they control.
He explained: “In Brooklyn’s case, posting now may represent an attempt to offload pent-up feelings, regain a sense of control, or feel heard at a time when private communication no longer feels effective or emotionally safe.”
“Public actions like this often signal not a desire for conflict, but a need for emotional release and validation, which is why Brooklyn may have now spoken out on his social media,” Macleod added.
According to Beckham his "family values public promotion and endorsements above all else" . He wrote: "Brand Beckham comes first". 'Family "love' is decided by how much you post on social media."
But, Macleod thinks that this rock bottom may lead to greener pastures for the Beckhams: “Often this is the only avenue that people see, allowing them this freedom and the opportunity to grow and rebuild, with less emotion or frustration.”
However, Brooklyn’s sign-off may suggest otherwise: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
Indeed, it seems Brooklyn sees his opportunity for growth as a destination as far removed from his parents as possible.
He finished his bombshell post with: “For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.”
