Not only is it a great deal, but it makes it only fractionally more expensive than the 50ml bottle, which is still priced at £28.20, meaning you could get double the amount for just £3 more. This is a steal compared to Sephora, where the exact same 100ml bottle is on sale for £54 down from £102 – so you’ll be saving more than £70 when you buy it from Amazon.

The Marc Jacobs Dot perfume has a fresh scent with citrus and woody notes that make it great for every season. It has top notes of honeysuckle, red berries and pitahaya, whilst the middle notes are orange blossom, coconut and jasmine. Finally the base notes provide some woodiness with musk, driftwood and vanilla.

And, as with all Marc Jacobs perfumes, it comes in a playful ornate bottle with a decorative cap. For the Dot perfume, the cap features a red and black polka dot print design, with a large 3D butterfly and oversized pearl centre on it, bringing some joy to your dressing table display.

Many of the complaints focussed on the item arriving damaged from Amazon, rather than the perfume itself, with one unhappy customer writing: “Arrived with the bottle decorations broken. I've read a lot of reviews the same. As it was a present for someone I am very disappointed. I'd suggest getting different couriers to deliver product!!!”

Another confirmed theirs was also damaged, saying: “The perfume smells amazing but it arrived broken..”
