Samsung Galaxy S26 series is undoubtedly among the most anticipated flagship launches of the year. The leaks suggest that the lineup may look more or less the same- Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
However, there's been a mixed reaction to the prices. Some leaksters suggest that the prices may shoot up due to the rising cost of RAM and hardware components, while some said the company will not hike the prices of its flagship series. Will the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra cost more? Now, a latest report by iNews24 suggests that Samsung is aiming to price the Galaxy S26 Ultra close to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which launched at around $1,300. However, escalating memory costs are complicating those plans. Smartphone makers are reportedly paying up to three times more for RAM compared to last year, largely due to limited supply. As per the report, the industry sources stated that some expect the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra price to reach $1,399 in the US, while Samsung wants to keep the price below KRW 2 million in its home market. If successful, the US pricing could remain unchanged at $1,299. To keep this in check, Samsung is reportedly considering cutting the traditional pre-order benefits. Many offers, such as free storage upgrades for early buyers, may be reduced or removed completely for the Galaxy S26 series and that, at least for me, is bad news. While there is no official word about the Indian market, all these factors are also said to impact the fans in India.
