When it comes to your wardrobe, there’s nothing more versatile to keep on hand than a good blazer. Perfect for wearing to the office, to events and even as a light layer for more casual situations like running errands or grabbing lunch with friends, it’s a piece that’s guaranteed to work hard for all occasions.

So when we spotted Ruth Langsford in the perfect tan blazer during an episode of last week’s Loose Women, we knew it was a staple that we simply had to have. Luckily for us (and you, if you want to snap it up too) it’s still available in all sizes at Mango, and, even better, it’s on sale.

The Straight Suit Jacket With Lapel Pockets is usually priced at £89.99, but is now available for £79.99. Whilst it’s not a mega reduction in price, we’re always glad of a chance to save a few pounds, and it’s worth investing in something you know you’ll get plenty of wear out of time and time again.

Although Ruth’s jacket also comes in a classic black colour, the camel shade is slightly softer and actually more wearable, as you can pair it with all colours, whether it’s another neutral, something bold like red or pink, or with a pattern like leopard print. The black shade is exclusively available online, but only comes in sizes extra small to extra large.

The camel colourway, however, is available in sizes XXS to 4XL, meaning it will fit all body shapes. The Straight Suit Jacket also has an oversized, relaxed it – Mango actually suggests sizing down – with a structured design, lapel collars and buttoned cuffs for that classic blazer silhouette.

You can also pick up the matching Wide Leg Suit Trousers for a head to toe tonal look. These are also on sale, down from £49.99 to £35.99, and are stocked in sizes four to 24, although sizes are selling quickly.

Ruth’s Mango blazer is similarly priced to this alternative at H&M where the Long Twill Blazer is £74.99, but if you wanted to splurge, Karen Millen’s Tailored Button Military Blazer is on sale for £127.20 down from £159. It features gold buttons and a double breasted fastening, and comes in four colours including black and tan.

However if you want to shop Ruth’s Mango Straight Suit Jacket now is the best time to get your hands on it. You could easily pair it with dark jeans and some fun printed ankle boots like Ruth did, or swap it for relaxed blue denim, a simple white T-shirt and trainers for a more laidback look. Alternatively, pair it with some wide leg trousers and loafers for the office, or even throw it over a midi dress if you’re heading to a wedding or evening event.
