The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to hold the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on February 8th. Candidates who have registered for the exam are eagerly anticipating the release of the city intimation slip, which will inform them of their designated exam city, allowing them to plan their travel accordingly. Historically, CBSE issues this slip approximately 10 days prior to the exam date, suggesting that the city slip may be available in the final week of January.

Separate Issuance of Admit Cards

It is crucial for all candidates to note that the exam city slip serves solely to provide information about the exam location and is not an admit card. The admit cards will be made available for download four days before the exam date, and candidates must download them separately.

Procedure for Downloading

Once the CBSE CTET admit card or city slip is released, candidates should follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.

2. Click on the Admit Card/City Intimation Slip link found in the LATEST NEWS section on the homepage.

3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security pin provided, then click the submit button.

4. Your admit card or city slip will appear on the screen, ready for download and printing.

Details of the Exam Pattern

The CTET will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions across both Paper 1 and Paper 2, with each question carrying one mark, totaling 150 marks. Candidates will have 150 minutes to complete the exam. The test will be conducted in two shifts: Paper 2 in the morning from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 1 in the afternoon from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
