iQOO has officially teased the upcoming **iQOO 15R** for India, confirming its imminent launch in November 2025 as the second model in the iQOO 15 series after the flagship iQOO 15. This is the first entry of the ‘R’ variant in the brand’s flagship lineup.
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya shared a teaser on X on January 20, 2026, with the tagline “Power that fits right in, #ComingSoon! #iQOO15R.” The image shows a stylish rear design with a checkered pattern, metal frame, and dual rear cameras in a square module – which looks similar to the iQOO Z11 Turbo that was recently launched in China, hinting at it being a rebrand.
No exact launch date has been announced yet, but according to reports it will be available on Amazon.in and iQOO India online store in February 2026.
**Expected Specifications** What makes the iQOO 15R a phone with near-flagship performance is a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset (to rival devices like the OnePlus 15R and Motorola Signature). The camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP front camera, which places an emphasis on high-resolution imaging.
Battery life is exceptional with a 7,600mAh capacity and 100W fast charging. Additional premium features include IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The device runs on OriginOS (Android-based) and targets performance enthusiasts who want flagship-level power in a more balanced, potentially affordable package. While full official details are awaited to be confirmed, teasers and leaks have created a lot of buzz for this power-packed mid-to-high-end contender in India’s competitive smartphone market.
