Emergency services have rushed to a city centre street after a dramatic car crash outside a popular bar. Police and paramedics have attended the incident along Great Ancoats Street in Manchester.
A police cordon has been put in place around the pavement and car after pictures appear to show it crashed into a row of railings outside the Wayfarer bar, on the corner of Oldham Street. The vehicle involved - an MG 4x4 - has a crashed front bumper after smashing through the metal barrier, leaving debris scattered all over the pavement. The crash involved one vehicle and is understood to have occurred after a suspected medical episode involving the driver. Greater Manchester Police said no arrests have been made. The driver was taken to the hospital.
