Rumours have been doing the rounds this week regarding Mykhailo Mudryk and his possible return to competitive football.
A picture emerged online of Mudryk training at Chelsea's Cobham base, though the image is understood to be old. Mudryk is wearing a training kit from a previous season and the Ukrainian has not been at the club's headquarters recently.
Back in June of last year, Mudryk was charged by the Football Association (FA) with violating its anti-doping rules after failing a drugs test. It was said at the time that the Ukrainian winger could face up to a four-year suspension from football.

A statement from the FA read: "We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with anti-doping rule violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of regulations 3 and 4 of the FA's anti-doping regulations. As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time."
Mudryk has not played for Chelsea since November 28, 2024, where he scored in a win away in Heidenheim in the Conference League. He is not allowed to train with the Blues either.
Chelsea signed Mudryk, who has scored 10 goals in 73 appearances in total for the Blues, from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023 in a deal worth up to £89million. His contract at Stamford Bridge runs until the summer of 2031.
