Getting enough restful sleep is important for our health, but for some this takes more than simply getting under the covers. Putting together a bedtime routine can help us relax and unwind, and Marks and Spencer has just launched a new collection that's especially curated for total relaxation.

The Unwind Edit is priced at £30 and is packed with relaxing products from popular brands like Neom, Estée Lauder and Emma Hardie. The retailer claims the edit can save shoppers around 79% on the total value of its contents, with their collective value totaling at approximately £142, reports the Mirror. Featuring nine items altogether, it effectively calculates to £3.30 per item, which is excellent value.

Inside you'll find a great selection of skincare, body care and hair care products, as well as a pillow mist and a silk sleep mask. Most are minis, but considering they come from premium brands, the edit is a great way for shoppers to try a variety of products before committing to full sizes. As everything is 100ml or less, this means the contents of the edit are also ideal for taking on trips, where it might be even harder to get to sleep in an unfamiliar setting.

A relaxing bath or shower is a great way to start your bedtime routine, and the box has abath and shower oil from Bloom and Blossom to help. It can be used in the shower or added to a bath, and comes in the And Breathe... scent, which blends frankincense, ylang ylang and lemongrass essential oils.

One fan said the shower oil made their bathroom "smell like a spa", while another said they "can't live without this product".

"Lovely shower oil, the scent definitely makes me more relaxed." a third shopper said, but pointed out: "The only downside of using a shower oil is that you need to clean and rinse the shower afterwards. But then....it doesn't really matter when one is so relaxed after using this lovely product. Skin feels smooth & soft after using it too."

Follow it up with Neom's Perfect Night Sleep Magnesium Body Butter, which has been especially developed to help you get a good night's sleep. This is because magnesium, also found in epsom salts, can help relax the muscles. The cream is made with a nourishing mix of shea butter, aloe vera, grapeseed oil and coconut oil, and is scented with lavender, chamomile and patchouli essential oils.

A Neom customer left a five star review on the brand's website, saying: "This product was recommended to me by a friend having had sleeping difficulties of late, it really is effective and really does aid sleep."

To nourish the face overnight, the set contains Pai's Rosehip Bioregenerate, which is formulated with antioxidant rosehip oil. It can be used over other skincare products to seal everything in, and claims to help skin appear brighter and smoother.

For the eyes, Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Gel-Creme targets puffiness, dark circles and signs of ageing, claiming to help the eye area appear brighter and smoother. It's worth considering that a full size, 15ml jar of this eye cream costs £56, so the 5ml included in the edit is just enough to try the cream for a few days without shelling out on the full jar.

Lips get some love too, as the box contains an overnight lip mask from Dr. PawPaw. There is also a Vitamin C Hydrogel Mask fro Emma Hardie, which is great for a little boost when skin is feeling dull.

There is also a Volumising Treatment Mask from Sam McKnight so you can pamper your hair as you sleep. The mask can be used overnight, and claims to volumise hair while mending split ends, too.

To add some luxe finishing touches to your nightly routine, there are also a Cloud Nine sleep mist and a silk eye mask. The mist featured in the box is enriched with lavender and geranium, and can be sprayed on any fabric. I like the idea of giving my pillow and pyjamas a spritz before bed, and being enveloped in the relaxing scent.

The highlight for me is the sleep mask, as it is made from 100% mulberry silk, adding a touch of luxury to an otherwise budget-friendly bundle. This is a great upgrade considering the masks included in similar boxes are usually made from a synthetic satin material. It will block out light to ensure a better sleep with less interruptions, completing the ritual.

Shoppers who got the Unwind Edit are praising the selection of products, and many say it makes a great gift. One wrote: "This was a gift for my daughter , she loves it, the items are helping with her sleep and she says her skin is lovely and soft."

Another said it was "a great little new year treat", adding: "Especially loved the pillow spray and Neom hand cream. Few products I'm yet to try but was impressed enough to purchase another as a gift."

"It has everything for a peaceful night's sleep", another review said.
