Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the effect of rapid industrial development in Madhya Pradesh was visible in Davos. The state has become the power hub of the country in renewable energy. Positive results of investment, employment and international cooperation are emerging.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the positive impact of the rapid industrial development that has taken place in Madhya Pradesh in the last two years was clearly visible in Davos. During the World Economic Forum in Davos, meaningful and important discussions were held regarding the state with big industrialists and business representatives from various sectors. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed this reaction after meetings with international companies at the World Economic Forum.

India's strong presence in the World Economic Forum 2026

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India's largest delegation has so far participated in the World Economic Forum-2026. He said that India is making rapid progress in all fields and is moving towards becoming the third largest economic power in the world in the next one to one and a half years.

Madhya Pradesh becomes the power hub of the country in renewable energy

The Chief Minister said that in this period of change, there is immense potential for development in all sectors including solar energy, IT, tourism in Madhya Pradesh. The efforts of the state government are showing positive results. Today Madhya Pradesh has become the power hub of the country in the field of renewable energy.

Emphasis on solar, wind and pumped storage projects

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that pumped storage, solar and wind energy production is being continuously increased in the state. In Omkareshwar, electricity is being generated by installing solar panels on the dam water, which is an innovative initiative.

Self-sufficiency for farmers through cheap electricity and solar pumps

The Chief Minister said that solar pumps are being distributed to 32 lakh farmers of the state to make them self-reliant in the electricity sector. The result of these efforts is that today Madhya Pradesh is providing the country's cheapest electricity produced from renewable energy. Other states and countries are eager to understand and adopt this model.

Possibilities of industrial partnership with Maldives

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that during the Davos Economic Forum, many topics were discussed with Maldivian Minister and economist Dr. Mohammed Sayeed. Dr. Saeed said that there are good opportunities for investment and development in Maldives along with tourism, fisheries, IT and health sectors.

Preparation to take forward Madhya Pradesh-Maldives cooperation

The Chief Minister said that many concrete decisions have already been taken between Prime Minister Shri Modi and the President of Maldives. Madhya Pradesh government is fully ready to move forward with Maldives. He informed that he himself will visit Maldives in the coming time and will explore new opportunities of partnership for development.

Cooperation getting stronger through cultural ties

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there are good cultural relations between the local citizens of Maldives and the Indians living there. Maldives is also showing interest in moving forward together with India and especially Madhya Pradesh.

Immense possibilities in agriculture and poultry sector

The Chief Minister said that there are better possibilities in the field of agriculture and poultry in Madhya Pradesh. Trade and cooperation with other states in these areas will be further strengthened in future.

Strong position in land bank, electricity and transport

Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has adequate land bank, abundant electricity and strong transportation system. Being situated in the center of the country, the state is also very favorable in terms of transportation.

Madhya Pradesh becomes the first choice of investors

The Chief Minister said that now investors from India and abroad are increasingly getting attracted towards Madhya Pradesh. Many MoUs have been signed to promote industry and trade. Due to this, industrial activities are continuously increasing in the state.

Young state with fastest industrial growth

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has today become the fastest industrially developing state in the country. Madhya Pradesh is the youngest state among the three major industrially progressing states of the country.

Historic decline in unemployment rate

The Chief Minister said that due to the efforts of the state government in the last two years, the unemployment rate in the state has come down to around one percent. The positive results of the efforts being made to connect the youth with employment and self-employment are clearly visible.
