If reports are to be believed, the advance booking of Sunny Deol's film was so fast that it has crossed the double digit mark in the first day's earnings. Yes, it is being told that while 4 thousand tickets were booked per hour on Book My Show on Thursday morning, the number of tickets increased to 10 thousand tickets per hour in the evening. If trade reports are to be believed, till Friday morning, more than four lakh tickets of Anurag Singh directed historical war drama 'Border 2' were booked in advance. From these the film earned Rs 12.5 crore on the opening day. It is being told that this includes earnings of Rs 5 lakh from IMAX, 4DX and Dolby Cine.
If we look at the figures, 'Border 2' has left behind Ranveer Singh starrer spy action drama 'Dhurandhar' in terms of advance booking. Directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Dhurandhar' had earned more than Rs 9 crore from advance booking on the first day. But it could not touch double digits. His 'Ghadar 2' is still on top in this list. The action thriller 'Gadar 2', directed by Anil Sharma, was released in 2023 and earned approximately Rs 17.50 crore from advance booking.
