I copied Claudia Winkleman's Traitors fingerless gloves with this cashmere pair under £30

As a nation we’re already mourning the end of another season of The Traitors, not least because it means we’ll have to go without our regular fix of outfit inspiration from Claudia Winkleman. Her on-screen appearance might be briefly coming to an end, but her ‘haute country’ sense of style will definitely be living on in our winter wardrobes. And, as an avid fan of Claudia and her stylist Sinead McKeefry’s outfit combinations, I’ve already been incorporating some of them into my daily attire.

One thing that’s proven a huge upgrade has been a pair of Claudia-style fingerless gloves, with the presenter known for wearing Brora’s £65 Cashmere Wristwarmers in almost every episode. Whilst I haven’t quite splurged on Claudia’s exact ones, I have been wearing this more affordable pair from Roka on repeat.

Despite coming in at more than 50% cheaper than Claudia’s – they’re £29.99 compared to her £65 pair – the Roka Metropolitan Cashmere Gloves are still made from 100% cashmere. This means they’re beautifully soft, not at all itchy, and most importantly, keep my hands warm.

I opted for the avocado green pair, but you can also pick them up in other colourways like black, teal, coral and butter yellow, and there’s even 100% cashmere beanie hats to match each shade. I was expecting them to maybe feel a little flimsy or like they’d snag easily, but they’re soft and lightweight, and I’ve worn them for countless dog walks already and haven’t had so much as a bobble appear.

The merits of fingerless gloves are also a given. They let you still use your fingers for things like using your phone, unfastening dog leads and turning headphones on and off, but still keep the rest of your hands nice and warm. The cashmere also makes sure you don’t get too sweaty, as they’re breathable too.

As well as being practical, the Metropolitan Cashmere Gloves also look great with all types of outfits. They manage to look both cool and stylish, whilst being classic enough that you can wear them year after year and season after season.

If you prefer fingerless gloves that have individual fingers, rather than one large cut out, then Kiltane’s Cashmere Fingerless Gloves are a great affordable option, priced at £35. You could also pick up the Ladies Cashmere Fingerless Gloves from House of Bruar, which are £34.95 and come in 16 different colours.

Alternatively, if you want to indulge in a little bit of luxury, Johnston’s of Elgin’s Cashmere Wrist Warmers are £90, and come in nine different neutral shades that perfectly suit Claudia’s edgy countryside aesthetic. However for me, Roka’s Metropolitan Cashmere Gloves have more than lived up to expectations… I’m off to buy a pair in every colour.
