Thanks to the brilliant half-centuries of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan, India registered a memorable victory and made 5 big records in this match.

India made the fastest run chase (200+) in T20 history, setting a world record in this match. Batting first, New Zealand scored 208 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Indian team scored 209/3 runs in 15.2 overs and won the match with 28 balls remaining. For India, Ishan Kishan scored 76 runs in 32 balls, while captain Suryakumar Yadav played an unbeaten inning of 82 runs in 37 balls.
