Mutual Admiration Amid Oscar Miss Filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan and producer Karan Johar shared heartfelt sentiments regarding their collaboration on the film Homebound, even as it did not receive a nomination at this year's Academy Awards.

The 98th Oscars nominations were revealed on Thursday, and unfortunately, Homebound did not make the cut for the International Feature Film category.

Karan Johar took to Instagram to express his pride in Ghaywan, stating, "Proud!!!! Love you @neeraj.ghaywan for allowing us to bask in your light!"

In response, Ghaywan conveyed his appreciation, saying, "Thank you, @karanjohar! You have been an absolute rock. Couldn’t have come this far without you. Love you!"

Despite being a strong contender with significant early buzz and critical acclaim, Homebound was notably absent from the final nominee list.

This year’s nominees for the International Feature Film category include titles such as ‘The Secret Agent’, ‘It Was Just An Accident’, ‘Sentimental Value’, ‘Sirat’, and ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’.

Timothee Chalamet Makes History

In a remarkable achievement, Timothee Chalamet has received a nomination for Best Actor at the upcoming 98th Academy Awards, marking a new record.

Chalamet, who is considered a frontrunner for his role as table tennis prodigy Marty Mauser in Marty Supreme, is now positioned for his first Oscar win. At just 30 years old, this nomination makes him the youngest male actor to receive three acting nominations.

Sinners Leads the Oscar Nominations

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has announced the eagerly awaited Oscar nominations, highlighting what is often referred to as Hollywood's biggest night. Leading the pack is Michael B. Jordan's Sinners, which garnered an impressive 16 nominations, followed closely by major titles like One Battle After Another, Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value, and Frankenstein.
