HPBOSE EMRSST Registration 2026: The application process for admission to Class 6 in Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Himachal Pradesh has begun. Applications are invited for the Eklavya Model Residential School Selection Test (EMRSST) 2026, which will be conducted for admission to Class 6.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released an official notification in this regard. Eligible and interested students can apply online through the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org. The Eklavya Model Residential School Selection Test (EMRSST) 2026, to be held in Himachal Pradesh, will now be conducted on March 29, 2026.

Complete information regarding eligibility, syllabus, exam scheme, application process, and other necessary terms and conditions is available on the HP Board's official website. Candidates can apply for the examination according to the prescribed guidelines and within the stipulated time frame. The EMRSST 2026 admit card will be released four days before the exam on the official HP Board website.

Eligibility Criteria for Application:
Only those students who are appearing for, have appeared for, or have passed the Class 5 examination in December 2025 or March 2026, or have passed Class 5 during the academic session 2025-26 and belong to the ST category are eligible to apply. Students from all other categories can also appear for the exam if they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. Please note that the exam date, which was previously scheduled for April 26, 2026, has been changed.
